This Two Way Radio is also fully upgradeable to a five watt business radio, it is also possible to run the radio with a mixture of low powered PMR446 Channels and five watt business channels, however you will need a licence, and it is illegal to run the PMR446 Channels over the allowed 0.5 watt or 500mW.
